The Price Is Right Live on Tour

Seeing The Price Is Right Live is a little bit like being reunited with a childhood friend. Anyone who grew up anywhere near a TV from the early 1970s onward probably has the classic game show embedded forever in their consciousness; seeing it play out in front of you (and maybe even taking part) can be a thrillingly surreal experience. But it's much more than just a nostalgia trip. Whether you're a lifelong fan of the show or it's your first exposure to the whole concept, the stage version of The Price Is Right is an enormous amount of fun, with random audience members picked to compete for cash and prizes by playing challenges like Plinko, The Big Wheel and The Showcase. If you're among the lucky attendees who get the famous call to "Come on down!" you just might feel a little chill go up your spine. But even if you aren't, it's still a blast to be part of the whole thing as it happens.

About The Price Is Right Live

In 1972, a part of TV history began its journey with the premier of The Price Is Right on CBS. When contestants heeded host Bob Barker's iconic call to "Come on down!" and take part in what has become one of America's most beloved game shows, a legacy started that would last for decades to come. The Price Is Right is one of the most popular, longest-running TV shows ever, so it's not surprising that it spawned a stage version in 2002. When you attend The Price Is Right Live, you may not be on TV but you're still getting the full experience. Whether you're one of the randomly selected contestants or a spectator, you see the classic game played out before your eyes, as people do their best to guess prices in order to win cash and prizes.

A night of fun at the Price is Right

by Kathy on 5/3/24Seminole Center - Immokalee

So exciting! We signed in and received our name tags and happily placed them on our new Come on down” shirts. Don’t forget to register with your email address and name as the people chosen to “come on down “ are randomly picked by the computer. We didn’t get picked but the prizes given were good. The first was a trip to Costa Rica, the second prize was $1,000, a few people didn’t win but the Big Deal was worth $30,000. Lots of fun- you don’t want to miss this!

    Not what I was expecting

by Liz on 5/3/24Seminole Center - Immokalee

Very few prizes and games were won/played. I think they played four games total and I don’t think it lasted much more than an hour.

    Disappointed

by DeeGibbs on 5/1/24Bryce Jordan Center - University Park

$160 on tickets $20 for parking $40 for shirts to wear to the show Super disappointed as it was nothing like the show. No Drew Carey. No contestant row where you stay until you get up on stage. Didn’t get picked so it was super boring.

Not as great as I had hoped

by Disappointed in Knoxville on 5/1/24Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

I was so excited to go and the overall "Price is Right"theme was basically followed. However, one of the contestants had to guess a price on a man's extended arm back shaver - seriously?! And then there was the Bob Ross toaster that would leave an imprint of Bob Ross on your bread??!!! I would not recommend attending a show and stick to watching or participating via online. Host and announcer did a great job but you left kind of feeling ripped off even for the contestants. One and done for me. Sorry.

Not what it used to be

by Lucybell on 4/29/24Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

The Tennessee Theatre was beautiful and worth seeing all by itself. The Price Is Right Live Stage Show is not what it used to be. It was fun, but the prizes used to be better, more like what you see on TV. I went to a show in Chattanooga 3 decades or more ago with Bob Barker, and that show was exactly like the TV show. This one seemed cheep.

    Live!

by JC on 4/28/24Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

Entertaining show! The enthusiastic audience absolutely made the event more exciting. It was fun to see groups of all ages wearing matching tees and decked out in TPIR merchandise. Clearly, so many folks have been super fans and dedicated followers for years. I liked the tribute paid to Bob Barker, the show’s iconic host who passed several months ago. The only suggestion I have is to turn down the volume somewhat. My head was still rattling hours after the show!

    Very entertaining.

by JBLfarragut on 4/27/24Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

The Showcase package was amazing. I still can't believe that the price was only a little over $30,000. Trip to Vegas, trip to Rome, 85"TV with surround sound and a Hyundai suv.

Not worth paying to get in

by Jen on 4/27/24Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

Was so excited about this and it was a HUGE disappointment! Not enough people called up and then it wasn't played like the real show. Prizes for audience were a joke, $25 Amazon gift card and gave away maybe 6 the entire show. They made a HUGE profit on this and that's clearly what it was all about. Very few people won anything. Never again

It was okay. it could have been a little better.

by Angel on 4/27/24Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

They could have had three showcases of come on down instead of two and pick more people and more prizes to give away because that was a big place and it was okay.
